The Internet is an incredible social and educational tool for youth in Canada. It can, however, also be a dangerous place if children are not properly monitored.

A number of public reports to Cybertip.ca tell us that many children and youth are not using the Internet safely. Examples of high-risk, unsafe Internet use include revealing personal information on social networking sites or chatrooms, posting images of themselves online, and using webcams.
